I’m very excited to reveal our next vinyl pressing under my label, a proper reissue of @xinlisupreme’s phenomenal record, “I Am Not Shinzo Abe”.

Initially conceived to protest the fascist policies and ideals that Shinzo Abe had embodied during his tenure as Prime Minister of Japan, the album has recieved critical acclaim in the underground music community for its blunt and poignant subject matter, as well as its uniquely heavy and scintillating production.

This album will be mastered for vinyl on a 2 disc pressing, with the colorway intending to resemble the Rising Sun Flag of Japan.

The selection of this colorway is a direct reaffirmation of the political statement Xinlisupreme made upon I Am Not Shinzo Abe’s initial release in 2018. It is intended to be the visual epitaph of the Shinzo Abe’s legacy.

Let me be completely clear that this is NOT a glorification of fascism, militarism or imperialism. If it wasnt already clear, this label exists as a safe space for people of all backgrounds and identities and is vehemently opposed to fascism, nationalism and racism.

This pressing will be limited to 250 copies worldwide, and will release 1 week from today on July 7th @ 12:00 PM EST.

当初、安倍晋三が日本の首相として在任中に体現したファシズム的な政策と理想に抗議するために構想されたこのアルバムは、その率直で痛烈な主題と、独特のヘヴィできらびやかなプロダクションにより、アンダーグラウンド・ミュージック・コミュニティで批評家の称賛を浴びた。

このアルバムは2枚組プレスでマスタリングされ、日本の旭日旗をイメージしたカラーウェイとなっている。

このカラーウェイの選択は、2018年の『I Am Not Shinzo Abe』の初リリース時にシンリスプリームが行った政治的声明を直接的に再確認するものである。これは、安倍晋三のレガシーの視覚的な墓碑銘となることを意図している。

これはファシズムや軍国主義、帝国主義を賛美するものではないことを、はっきりと申し上げておきたい。このレーベルは、あらゆる背景やアイデンティティを持つ人々のための安全な空間として存在し、ファシズム、ナショナリズム、人種差別に激しく反対している。
